
Trent is a skilled composer, arranger, performer, conductor, and educator. He has worked with many choirs, orchestras, and ensembles since the 1980’s (yes, the 20th century!). Trent was part of Pro Coro Canada for 30 years, first as a singer, then as chorus master, associate conductor, and finally artistic director.
Trent has composed and arranged commercial, classical, and choral music for groups and organizations including Grande Prairie Boys’ Choir, A Joyful Noise, Sing for Life, Saskatchewan Honour Choir, VOCE the a cappella experience, Chronos Vocal Ensemble, Kokopelli, iCoristi Chamber Choir, Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree, and Pro Coro Canada, among others. He has served as an adjudicator for music festivals, and has sat on peer review committees for arts funding organizations at municipal, provincial, and national levels. He currently writes as much choral music as possible and teaches math at junior high school.
