A traditional song from Åland, sung in Swedish, this SAB arrangement was written for my dear friend Eva Bostrand and her choir A Joyful Noise. There is a male choir version also. The recording is just me playing the piano and trying to sing all the parts. Sorry, soprano notes are really just too high for me. So if you compare the score and the recording you’ll find lots of places where the soprano is sung down the octave or else is just omitted entirely. I would love to hear a recording of the piece sung by a real choir!
